In our latest group coaching session, we delved deep into the essence of what makes our coaching valuable and impactful. Through discussions, education and shared experiences, we uncovered key lessons to help us improve our offerings.<h2 id="f661e0c2-30cd-4825-ae24-ae48778b0f6c" data-toc-id="f661e0c2-30cd-4825-ae24-ae48778b0f6c">Never Assume </h2>One coach's reflection on a past client session served as a powerful reminder of the importance of never assuming.&nbsp;After taking a break in their sessions, they realised the need to re-engage with the client through more questions and fewer assumptions. This approach ensured they truly understood the client's evolving needs and supported them in the most effective way. As coaches, it's essential to remember that our clients' circumstances and perspectives and current situations can shift rapidly, and our attentiveness can make all the difference in their results and progress.<h2 id="6b34a0f8-1024-4ac3-973e-a2e336743464" data-toc-id="6b34a0f8-1024-4ac3-973e-a2e336743464">The Importance of Structure</h2>A key insight from our discussion was the significance of structured coaching packages. Structured packages bring greater value and they ensure our clients coaching journey is full of progress, insights, learning and engagement. These packages must be designed with a clear roadmap, that transforms the coaching experience from a series of isolated sessions into a cohesive and transformative journey. We recapped the four phases of a coaching package and explored the type of documentation and tools used at each stage.<h2 id="50a8e7bd-ce98-451a-b0cb-8fe10fca47ff" data-toc-id="50a8e7bd-ce98-451a-b0cb-8fe10fca47ff">Value and Self-Worth </h2>Another key discussion centred on valuing our services and embracing self-worth. With one coach being asked to deliver a a week-long intensive private retreat for a client, the conversation turned to pricing and the recognition of value. We discussed the reality of this type of coaching service, how the retreat could be structured, the impact and outcomes and also the time, effort, skill and energy required to deliver this style of offering. All up, acknowledging the immense value brought to clients and developing the confidence to honor our value and skills, and charge accordingly. Recognising our worth is crucial in establishing fair pricing and ensuring that, as coaches, we are also nurturing our own growth and sustainability as well as that of our clients. This week's group coaching session was a beautiful blend of celebration, connection,&nbsp;education and deep insights. It reminded us of the power of community, the importance of valuing our work, and the incredible impact we have on our clients. There is no doubt that together, we can achieve more than we can alone.
